Summary of the Undertaking given by Dr. Christopher Alan Shoemaker to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, effective July 26, 2024:
 
Dr. Shoemaker was referred to the Discipline Tribunal respecting allegations of professional misconduct in relation to his public communications concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.  Prior to the Tribunal hearing, Dr. Shoemaker resigned from the College and has agreed never to apply or re-apply for registration as a physician in Ontario. Subsequently, the College withdrew the above Notice of Hearing.
