Previous Hearings
Committee: Discipline
Decision Date: 25 Feb 1986
Summary:
In February 1986, the Discipline Committee found Dr. Reason guilty of professional misconduct, as defined in s. 27(21) of Ontario Regulation 448/80, as amended, in that he failed to maintain the standard of practice of the profession. Consequently, the Committee ordered that Dr. Reason be reprimanded, and that if he failed to attend for the reprimand on the date determined by the Registrar, his licence to practice would be suspended for a period of three months. The Committee also ruled that the Doctor's licence be restricted, in that all surgical and special procedures, including biopsies, were henceforth prohibited.
